quality control

Cimenterie Nationale operates top-notch laboratories whose role is to ensure that the company’s products are of the highest quality and in line with the European and American standards.

Our quality controlling laboratory operates 24 hours a day with three rotating shifts. The laboratory is well equipped with the latest technology machine such as automatic Blaine, and Mastersizer 2000 machine for control the particle size distribution of cement and raw material. Its main mission is to control the raw material, raw meal, kiln feed, clinker and cement production on an hourly basis and report results directly to the production departments in order to minimize the percentage of non-conforming products.

  • Chemical Laboratory

Cimenterie Nationale has the most advanced technology for research and analysis, such as Claisse machine for sample preparation, XRF and XRD for the chemical and mineralogical analysis, a microscope with all necessary accessories (to determine the clinker crystal distribution and reactivity), spectrophotometer to determine the water soluble chromium VI content in cement according to EN 196-10. All needed equipments to perform the wet analysis according to ASTM C114 and EN 196-2 and an oven up to 2000 °C was also installed to control the Burnability of the raw material and to evaluate the raw mix variation. In addition, the laboratory is equipped to perform water and carburant analysis.

  • Physical Laboratory

The physical laboratory is divided into two sections. One is reserved for tests according to European standards, and the second for tests according to American (ASTM) standards. The environmental condition of both sections is continuously monitored to fulfill the requirements of both standards.

  • Concrete Laboratory

This laboratory is well equipped to control the quality of all concrete components. In addition, this laboratory is available to support Cimenterie Nationale customers and other interested individuals.

Our customers are at the core of our process-based management system. Complaints received from our customers or drivers are treated with attention, and when needed, an investigation is launched immediately in order to find out the root of the complaint and work to solve and mitigate reoccurrence.

We also launch a customer satisfaction survey campaign on a monthly basis, where a specialized team communicates with our customers and drivers (bulk and bagged) and collects their feedback on many matters in an attempt to improve the quality of the relationship between Cimenterie Nationale and its clients and drivers. Some of the feedback collected is related to safety, environment, product quality, paper bags quality, pricing, loading cycle and time consumed, availability of our products in the market, performance of our drivers and cleanliness of the bulk truck.
